Amajambere Camp

Sheba Hanyurwa is running a tour company in Kisoro, Uganda.
He has worked both as park ranger and research assistant for Uganda Wildlife Authority.

Sheba is the founding member of Amajambere Iwacu Community Group, founded by 33 families who lived within Mgahinga Gorilla National Park when it was expanded in 1991. Pooling their resources, a community campground was launched, and tourists have contributed to local community employment and income ever since.
